I have recently relocated to Brisbane from Mount Isa & after a break over Christmas I very keen to rejoin the workforce. As my resume indicates I have quite a varied work history from my beginnings in hospitality, a love affair of sorts with the airline industry which has taken me to many locations. A change in direction with Kelly Sports then a return to Queensland & aviation. A move to Mount Isa for nearly nine years also added a few different feathers to my cap. Having grown up on the coast, this move back to Brisbane is hopefully the final one as I am keen to put down roots and enjoy everything my home state has to offer. I have comfortably managed accounts payable & receivable for a small business using QuickBooks. This also involved the preparation of the relevant monthly/quarterly PAYG/BAS for the business and the trust. As this was a small business the HR & payroll function also fell under my responsibility. QuickBooks was also used to process payroll for approximately 20 employees All my previous roles have involved various levels of administrative tasking, utilising various office equipment with the standard use of the Microsoft suite of programs. Although many roles have utilised different systems and software, I have adapted and become proficient within a short time. My customer service skills have been honed over time and varied industries, resulting in an excellent ability to interact effectively with front line staff and all levels of management. I have always been a proactive team player, but work equally well in an autonomous role. Personally, I am results focused & gain a certain sense of satisfaction from seeing a job well done from beginning to end. My most recent role constantly tested my ability to think outside the square as mining is a 24/7 operation and one day is rarely the same as the next. I am confident my varied skill set coupled with my exemplary customer service skills will make me asset to any business. I appreciate that the job market is extremely competitive and although my focus is to secure full time employment I may need to prove myself through temp assignments initially. I am more than willing to commit to initiatives to upgrade my skill set.
