I have recently relocated to Sydney after completing a vintage working for Houghton Wines in Western Australia. I am living in Sydney under a work holiday class visa, and originally come from Canada. My Visa is valid until January 25th, 2014 and I am planning on remaining in Sydney until it expires.
My goal in Sydney is to work in the hospitality industry continuing to expand my experience in the field of food and wine. I currently hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification for NSW and will be getting a Barista certification in the near future. I have an Hounors Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Tourism Management from University of Guelph and, I am currently working to complete my WSET Diploma.
I also have five years of experience working in customer in many capacities; as a cook, as a sales person and as a server. I am very empathetic to peoples needs, always provide exceptional service, and work best when in a team of similarly minded individuals. I am organized and personable, and strive to maintain strong personal relationships with my customers and my colleagues. I find my work is most rewarding when I am able to create a connection with my customers, exceed their expectations and make their experience memorable.
