Introduction

I am a recent graduate from Deakin University with a Masters in Architecture and Bachelor of Construction Management. I am writing to express the keen interest I have in the position you currently have available. I am a confident relationship builder, with experience of using my verbal and written communication skills to build professional and trustworthy relationships with a range of different people. I am accustomed to working in fast-paced environments and have exemplary organisational and administrative skills. In using these skills I am able to manage my time highly effectively by prioritising tasks, setting deadlines and multitask. This allows me sufficient time to complete designated tasks whilst also being able to adapt to sudden or unexpected situations where urgent attention to a particular task is required. I am confident working to my own initiative and also as part of a team, which I have gained experienced of doing throughout employment. Sharing responsibilities across a team and adopting a flexible approach has enabled me to be more efficient when working on paid projects whilst also allowing me to work on other streams for the organisation, such as voluntary pro bono work. I am a highly proficient user of all Microsoft Office applications, using them daily to draft reports, schedule meetings, produce budgets and deliver presentations. Moreover, I have experience of using a range of different databases and content management systems, and am able to quickly adapt to new systems or processes. I believe my adaptable approach, attention to the finer detail and ability to manage a large workload will enable me to efficiently support communications and co-ordination as an administration assistant for your company.
