Hi. I'm a hard-working and flexible person, with a broad array of interests (including geekery) and skills.
I have achieved my VCE and also a combined Bachelor of Arts and Science (University of New England) and a Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies at the University of Queensland. I have undergone several training programmes through my employment with an emphasis on positive problem solving and conflict resolution, and welcome all opportunities to improve my abilities.
I am currently employed as an audio transcriber, where I have a word rate of 85+wpm with greater than 99% accuracy. I believe in maintaining a pleasant and polite demeanour under all circumstances, and in providing the customer with the best experience possible. I am friendly, personable and easy to get along with, and have excellent verbal, written and over-the-phone communication skills. I work well both in a team and independently, and have done both numerous times. I have experience with customer service, cleaning, animal care, sales, reception, data entry, archiving, and graphic design, among other things.
I have grown up using computers, and so am well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Paint, Open Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, various web browsers, several data management programmes, and both Microsoft and Macintosh, as well as several different cataloguing systems. I have assisted many people to learn and use computers and the Internet, including working with my colleagues to adapt to a complete system upgrade.
I am happy to work almost any times, and in any areas. I genuinely believe I would be an asset to your business.
