Oct 2013 - June 2014 & Oct 2014 - Fiona trained with Bluefit leisure and Judy Watts Swim School. She taught public and private lessons with children aged from 6 months to 11 years. Lessons ranged from eginners to advanced/squads. Drawing on her previous experience in leisure and as a competitive swimmer she developed and adjusted her acquired teaching skills to suit the lesson/age/location. The driving force for her motivation is to create a positive difference to the customer.

June 2013 - Oct 2013 - The role required great inter-personal, and problem solving skills. Fiona attended to check-ins and check outs, answered queries relating to car parking, hot water, food, ski/snowboard hire and ensured guests expectations were met resulting in an excellent stay at the lodge. This role enhanced her ability to change her approach ased on the demands of the situation.

Bar Tender/Barista (Coco's Dumpling Bar, Byron Bay, Australia)
January 2013 - May 2013 - Responsibilities involved opening and closing, liaising with the owner when required, cash handling, food and beverage preparation and service. This role was conducted on a solo basis 50% of the time, with a maximum of three people serving for the other 50%.
Silver Service Waitress (Indiana's, Cottesloe, Australia)
March 2012 - July 2012 - Indiana's was a high-end restaurant offering beautiful ocean views, popular for weddings and functions. Fiona learned the role quickly and progressed to eing offered a supervisory role. She had to turn this role down due to her travelling plans. This role played on her strengths within customer service, communication, and organisation.
ING Direct UK
Operations Servicing Associate (ING Direct UK, Reading, Berkshire, UK)
June 2010 - November 2011 - Fiona worked full time for ING Direct UK within the New Business Savings team of the Operations department. This role was centred on providing customer service to the best possible standard. Duties involved manually processing daily reports (Experian®), in relation to new customers’ security checks. She dealt directly with existing customers, helping find products to suit their needs, and manage their accounts with regard to money transfers, and servicing. This was conducted via correspondence and/or over the phone (inbound & outound calls).
Fiona was further entrusted with a project (extra to her day-to-day role) that involved analysing all savings correspondence. She conducted meetings with other departments such as, Fulfilment, Marketing and Compliance, and then amended the correspondence accordingly. During her time Fiona was nominated y her colleagues and won the ‘Zeus’ award for excellence in customer service.
Postgraduate Researcher (Coventry University, West Midlands, UK)
Sept 2008 - Sept 2009 - Fiona planned and taught laboratory sessions and workshops for 1st and 2nd year Sports and Exercise Science students. Fiona planned and conducted extensive research on human participants for the company, NP Aerospace Ltd, as part of her studentship towards the completion of her Masters y Research in Applied Physiology.
This work emphasised her ability to remain organised, deal with problems as they arose, and meet required deadlines. In addition, considered as a necessary requirement for the analysis of data, attention to detail is something that Fiona prides herself on. She gaged the operation and handling of software and equipment through a self-taught approach.
Silver Service Staff (Blue Arrow Catering, Slough, Berkshire, UK)
June 2007 - November 2008 - Fiona worked part-time as a Silver Service waitress at Royal Ascot Racecourse as well as other corporate events. This role enhanced her customer service skills, providing service to the best possible standard for the customer. She was requested back to the same privately owned box when working at Royal Ascot Racecourse on many occasions to serve the Ex CEO of William Hill, his friends and family. She was ale to work together with many different people, and to delegate and divide work evenly within the team when required.

June - Sept 2007 - Time was spent updating CHL's database of client (Broker) contact details, and information regarding current communication and/or handling, arranging dates for meetings with the relevant BDMs (Business Development Managers). Fiona was regarded as a hard worker that was organised and thorough, she was also considered polite and patient when dealing with customers.

June - Sept 2006 - Once the company had finished re-branding, Fiona was called in to deal with updating and consolidating the employee information handbook, ensuring it was ready for distriution. She also attended to any other administration duties that were required at the time, (photocopying, and collating, invoicing, filing).
