Laura lives fo innovative businesses.
In her previous position at the League of Extraordinary Women she was responsible for the sponsorship coordination for the 'Run The World' national conference. Her involvement with Australia’s largest and fastest growing movement of young female entrepreneurs has provided her with a wide range of marketing and event coordination experiences, especially in negotiations with sponsors.
Through her studies of Entrepreneurship at R.M.I.T. she was exposed to opportunities to develop and market her own business as a part of the curriculum, while being surrounded by like-minded entrepreneurs, all deeply involved in their new ventures and working together to take their start up to market.
Laura spent a semester at Babson College in Massachusetts, which has been ranked number 1 college for entrepreneurship for 20 years in a row by U.S. News & World Report. Where she participated in award winning classes and operated as a business consulting for a small firm in Cambidge.
As the fortunate two-time recipient of The Jacques Nasser Travel Scholarship from R.M.I.T University, Laura had the opportunity to travel to Chicago for The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization Conference, where she was the only international competito to advance into the National C-E-O business pitch competition.
Laura volunteers with the Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse, which is an organisation with a range of experiential programs and activities that provide young people with personal and leadership development opportunities. As the head of the photography department at the Mirabel community camp, Laura is responsible for managing her department of volunteers and generating fast turnaround photo pesentations.
