I am a professional counsellor with extensive experience in facilitating a healthy relationship program in primary schools on the Gold Coast. In this position I was able to engage with primary school students to discuss issues of 'safety' and 'protective behaviours' as well as 'understanding self and others' to create more harmony within the school. This past role has deepened my interest in empowering young people to make better life choices through an increased sense of self-belief, which can then have an enormous impact on their confidence to learn, participate and achieve. I am passionate about encouraging students to develop some emotional intelligence to support their growth. In addition to this I am certified to present the 123 Magic Parenting program which can greatly assist life at home for the student and parent. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this with you further.
