I am 19 years old and from the UK. I am here in Sydney on a working holiday visa. I am currently looking for a job and I am interested in the 'Customer Service Sales Assistant' position advertised. I have experience working as a customer sales assistant in a T-shirt printing shop in Cambridge, I also worked as a waitress for 6 months while in Cambridge too. I enjoy working with customers and doing everything I can to make them happy so I believe this position would be perfect for me. I have a positive attitude in everything I do and I always give 100%.

    July 2014 to January 2015: Print and embroidery assistant Talking T's, Cambridge Rd Industrial Estate, Milton, CB24 6AZ This is a small, family run T-shirt print and embroidery business where I had to be flexible and learn quickly. I helped in all aspects of production including packing and unpacking deliveries, trimming and preparing embroidered and printed clothing and was also responsible for some of the transfer printing onto shirts.

    December 2013 to June 2014: Waitress and bar assistant Rhode Island Restaurant and Bar, 15 High Street, Cambridge, Cambridge CB1 9HX My role here was to take orders at the table, serve behind the bar and look after customers throughout their visit. The restaurant was fairly small and often busy, at times I was the only member of staff on duty which meant I have had to think for myself and be able to do two things at once. I also learnt how to make a variety of cocktails, milkshakes, coffees and many other drinks from the menu. During my time here I worked on average 45-50 hours a week, I also worked many hours overtime to help as much as I could

    March 2012 - September 2013: Retail assistant Talking Ts of Cambridge (T-shirt shop), 37 Bridge Street, Cambridge, UK I worked part time here whilst at college and full time over the summer holidays. The job involved dealing with a wide range of people including students, local residents and tourists of all nationalities. As well as selling T-shirts and other gifts in the shop I had to take orders and prepare artwork for custom printed shirts. On some weekend and evening shifts I was in sole charge of the shop and responsible for closing the premises at the end of the day.

    This course covered both written journalism and graphics and I learnt to use both Photoshop and Indesign software. As part of the course I had to design and produce the in-house magazine which showed us how to put learning into practice. A long side this I also completed a course in photography which I really enjoyed, I then went on to win a College photography competition in 2012, for which I am very proud.
