Administration Assistant-Temping Assignment
Duties included:
• Assisting foreman by ordering equipment required for field work I.e. excavators, trucks, traffic control etc
• Communicate with service providers by providing appropriate notice and specific site instructions for the delivery of plant equipment. Including daily communication with Traffic Control Service provider and
daily communication with truck provider.
• Confirm that the services and products offered by Council are provided to the Foreman and other
Council Workers as requested, in a cost effective, professional and timely manner.
• Processing of weekly and monthly invoices and confirming correct charges to different Council
departments.
• General end of month filing and other administration duties required.
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers for additional or replacements of missing plant hire equipment,
ordering and issuing to appropriate areas of Council.
• Collating information for tender specifications for large plant hire equipment and arranging
demonstrations from suppliers. Attending demonstrations and collating survey information.
• Assisting in the collation of plant equipment for auction, overseeing transportation to auction site,
complying auction list with reserve prices, checking off sold items.
• Checking off and collating data on daily large plant hire equipment hired to foreman.
• Reconciliation of floating plant equipment.
