I worked as bar staff at the National Hotel over Summer, mainly working on serving food, collecting
glasses and acting as 'front of house', ensuring the venue maintained a good atmosphere and that it remained efficient and clean/
Centre for Eye
CERA (Centre for Eye Research Australia) July 2013 -
I am currently employed as a lab assistant at CERA, assisting researchers with their experiments in the laboratory on a weekly basis.
Scotch College Boat Club
Rowing Coach, Scotch College Boat Club November 2012 - March 2014
I was elected by the Head of Rowing to become a coach of a year 10 crew. As a coach my role
is to motivate the students; encourage their physical fitness and development; mentor them;
prepare them for the ultimate aim of winning the Head of the River. I was also employed for a
second season, finishing March 22nd 2014.
Responsible Service of Alcohol - RSA Melbourne January 2013
The RSA course covers legal requirements of the sale and service of alcohol, harm minimisation and duty of care, anticipating problems and managing patrons, assess and monitor the levels of intoxication of patrons, advise patrons on standard drinks and the effects of alcohol.
In 2012 I was selected as one of 12 students from Year 12 at Scotch College to become a
leader/carer at Star Camp. The aim of Star Camp is to:
- provide a fun camp for children with disabilities at no cost to parents
- provide children opportunities they might not otherwise experience
- offer respite care to families
- provide us with the opportunity to serve others
