Introduction

I am currently on a working holiday visa 417 but in the process of a permanent visa 820/801., I am looking to start a new career in Darwin. In terms of skills, I am committed, trustworthy, tolerant, progressive, flexible and committed to pursuing a career working within administration or within an educational setting. I would therefore be willing to attend any necessary training courses/colleges courses to improve my skills I have some administrative experience, I worked in retail for over six years as a store manager therefore I have customer service skills which I feel is important in any career. I have recently applied for my NT working with children card and I hold a current NT licence. I also completed Level 2 in Sign Language and Level 2 Supporting and Teaching in Schools.. I would love the opportunity to be a part of a new team that is challenging with the prospect of a long term career I can accelerate in, I just need a chance to prove I am the perfect candidate for the job.

My responsibilities were general day-to-day care, including driving and escorting her to social functions (eating/entertaining/shopping etc.). My objective was to encourage the person I cared for to gain independence and to be able to interact with the community at large. I found this a Very rewarding experience. I was offered a permanent paid position to work for Living Ambitions as a permanent full-time career, but after much consideration, I decided not to accept, due to an unexpected promotion at my full-time employment.

I then moved to Gillibrand Primary School to finish my school voluntary work and to gain more experience within a different school environment.
