Visitor Reception Officer
Tasmania's Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) are responsible for managing and preserving the diverse natural and cultural heritage of Tasmania.
Programmed are currently seeking expressions of interest for exciting upcoming opportunities to join the team at Parks and Wildlife Service for casual and part-time fixed-term positions at the following locations:
Freycinet National Park
As a Visitor Reception Officer you will be the first point of contact between the public and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment so you will have outstanding presentation and customer service skills. You will be responsible for collecting park entry fees and checking Parks passes for visitors to the National Parks, as well as providing advice and information to visitors to the Parks. As a part of this role you will also be required to maintain some of the Park's public facilities.

These positions will be based on a roster system and hours will ramp up over the peak season. It will be essential to be available on both Saturday, Sunday as well as Public Holidays. You will be responsible for traveling to and from the work site locations.
