Technical Service Representative job availability

  • Our client is a leading packaging and paper manufacturing group in Australia and New Zealand with over 100 years of proud manufacturing history. With a commitment for securing future success, they are seeking a Professional and Passionate Technical Service Representative, with Laboratory and Servicing experience in the Pulp and Paper industry, to join their team in Maryvale.

    The key responsibility for this role will be to provide support in Laboratory testing, maintain and service machineries and equipment.

    Duties and responsibilities involved but not limited to:

    • Performing Laboratory Testing and Inventory Management
    • Performing Equipment Checks and basic maintenance
    • Conducting Service Reports and Troubleshooting
    • Providing on site support to customers including technology evaluations
    • Liaising with Internal and External stakeholders
    • Working with team members and resource groups to ensure customer deliverables are met and maintained
    • Maintaining high safety standards to ensure there are no incidents or accidents in the working environment

    To be successful you must have:

    • Qualifications in a Science/Engineering field, preferably in Pulp & Paper Industry
    • Proven experience in Laboratory and Technician base position
    • An understanding of Machine Operations
    • A Strong awareness of safety and associated risk
    • The ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Demonstrated strong Technical Skills
    • Intermediate computer skills
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Flexibility to work long periods unsupervised
    • Self- motivated
    • A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
