SERVICE TYRE FITTER
Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed labour, labour hire, staffing and training services.
Our client is an Australian market leader in the manufacture of tyres and related products.
They have a full time permanent role for an experienced Tyre Service Fitter based at their Wetherill Park site. Will work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday withovertime. Once trained and certified may be required to work 10 hours per day on a regular basis (depending on business requirements).
Duties will include the complete tyre and wheel removal and fitment procedure for passenger, four wheel drive, truck and where applicable agricultural and industrial tyres to customer vehicles.
Will also involve the use of a service vehicle to complete road-side work that includes fitting, inflation, vehicle isolation, balancing, jacking/lifting, wheel removal, lowering of vehicle and wheel torqueing.
Other duties include completion of weekly vehicle inspections and monthly tool inspections. Must also ensure service vehicle and work area are kept neat and tidy, and that all work undertaken is completed in a safe manner. A company vehicle will be available once trained and certified.
Must have experience in the fitment of PSR, 4X4, Light Truck and TBR tyres and a current NSW driver's licence. After initial training must also be available to become part of the on call and afterhours service roster which is a 10 week cycle where the employee is on call for 1 week at a time.
Preference will be given to applicants who have completed and been assessed as competent in AUR21913 Certificate II Tyre Servicing (light and heavy)

Initial interviews will be held in the Programmed offices in Werrington (near St Marys) or Botany.
