    The job

    We are looking for a person that can represent the organisation’s values, supervise staff whilst assisting customers in the showroom and on the phone. You will be helping with enquiries, sales, quotation with some clerical duties.

    Your working week is over 5 and a half days and includes a great variety of duties including:

    • Serving and assisting customers in the store as well as on the phone
    • Supervise, train and support team within the safety department
    • Quotations and sales
    • Operating POS
    • Keep the showroom clean and tidy
    • Clerical task including data entry, filing, email correspondence, invoice checking, purchase orders and requisitions
    • Inventory, stocktaking
    • Merchandise display

    What you need to land this job:

    An ideal candidate is a person who has had experience in safety workwear / clothing and PPE retail sales and is able to deal with inquiries both in person and over the phone. A good level of overall understanding of a retail sales environment is needed.

    • Retail sales experience (Workwear / Clothing / Safety / Trade is preferred)
    • Safety product knowledge is paramount
    • Have supervised/managed staff
    • POS experience
    • Computer Savvy, good knowledge of Microsoft office suite
    • Experience in tender preparation would be beneficial
    • Business development skills would be viewed favourably
    • Clerical capabilities
