    In your new position, you will be representing the most highly awarded restaurant and catering company in Northern Queensland. They deliver tier one functions throughout North Queensland, whilst their well-established, busy waterfront restaurant is a regular hangout for the locals and a popular choice for tourists. The restaurant maintains a relaxed dining experience with fantastic food, great service and an exceptional atmosphere.

    No day is dull in this busy environment and growth is on offer for the right candidate. Management is all about empowerment and communication and will support you to ensure that everyone is on the same track and working towards perfect service.

    The Position:

    Leading from the front, and with the support from your senior managers, you will ensure that you and your team are providing spot-on service in the restaurant as well as at events.

    Your shifts will consist of 3-night shifts and 2 split shifts with days off during the week. Your base is at the Restaurant, but you will be assisting with events as well.

    Ideally, you will have:

    • Solid experience in a busy, high volume a la carte venue and off-site catering as either Team Leader, Supervisor or higher
    • Lead by example
    • The ability to thrive under pressure in a busy environment
    • Passion and knowledge about food and wine especially local produce
    • Strong customer service practices
    • Attention to detail and a willingness to be part of a fun and professional team


    • RSA
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Reservations and floor plan experience
    • Experience in opening and closing of a venue
    • Set up and break down of events
    • Staff training / coaching experience
    • Experience with POS Systems
    • Professional and friendly customer service skills
