Procurement and Raw Materials Coordinator job availability

  • Programmed are seeking a logistics professional with experience in food import to jump on board with our highly regarded Client in either Hobart or Wesley Vale.

    This position will be 0.5 FTE initially with expectations to grow into a full-time position as Production expands.

    The successful applicants will have worked in a similar environment as a Raw Materials Coordinator and will have a sound understanding of the Tasmanian and Australian requirements for food imports.

    The key duties of this role include:

    • Calling-off raw materials within contracted terms to meet forecast requirements
    • Completing and managing logistics and import documentation
    • Support import permit submission and Supplier assessment documents
    • Working with Suppliers with shipping schedules, good tracking and delivery
    • Monthly inventory adjustment, forecasting and reporting
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

    In addition to the above key requirements we are looking for candidates who have specific experience in food imports. Ideally you will have advanced Excel skills, experience using Merit Logistics, M3 and various logistic company portals.

    Flexible work hours can be negotiated for the right candidate whilst working 0.5 FTE. Whilst Wesley Vale is the preferred base location, Hobart applicants will be considered based on relevant experience.
