ABOUT THE ROLE
This an entry point and pathway program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Throughout your Pre-pathway Traineeship, you will gain skills and experience to prepare you for a career in the oil and gas industry.
You will learn about different career pathways within the industry, rotating through different workgroups at Woodside's Burrup facilities including:
You will receive coaching and assistance to prepare you for entry into an apprenticeship or traineeship including aptitude testing, interview preparation and assistance writing resumes and cover letters.
There are no specific trade requirements, however applicants will need to have:
Genuine interest and motivation to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry; and
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and attend regular drug and alcohol screens
For more than 30 years, Woodside has invested significantly in infrastructure, education and community initiatives that ensure the City of Karratha remains a great place to live and work. Preference will be given to candidates who already reside in the local community, however we will consider your application if you can demonstrate a connection with Karratha and are willing to relocate at your own expense.
