Pallet Repairer

• Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking experienced Pallet Repairers to commence immediately in Dandenong.

  Our client, one of Australia's leading suppliers of reusable wooden pallets has multiple positions available on Day, Afternoon and Night shifts. For the right person, these roles are available to start immediately.

  • Immediate start available
  • Located in Dandenong South
  • Rotating roster & 6 weeks of training

  Your duties will include:

  • Repairing pallets coming in on conveyor belt
  • Use of pedals and buttons on the table to manoeuvre the pallets
  • Fixing/repairing the pallet as needed e.g. replacing panels of wood, removing nails, removing rubbish etc.
  • Use of air nail gun and angle grinder
  • Replacing nails in nail gun and grinding discs on angle grinder when necessary
  • Repetitive work, standing all shift
  • Manual handling up to 20kg

  To be successful for this role you must:

  • Have prior experience within a warehouse/factory environment?
  • Have recent experience operating hand power tools as described above
  • The ability to meet set hourly KPI's
  • Undergo 6 weeks of training
  • Have high attention to detail?and able to work repetitively and efficiently
  • Be available to work up to 40 hours per week on a rotating roster (you must be available for all Day, Afternoon and Night shift)

  Please note for this position you will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical assessment and a Drug & Alcohol test.
