Office Manager job availability

  • Office Manager required for well known trades business in the Northern Rivers, based in Ballina.

    The position will be ongoing working a 38hr week and will commence immediately on finding a suitable candidate.

    Details of position:

    Schedule meetings and appointments.
    Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary.
    Organise office operations and procedures.
    Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
    Manage contracts and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease.
    Manage office G&A budget ensure accurate and timely reporting.
    Provide general support to visitors.
    Address employees queries regarding office management issues (stationery, hardware and travel arrangements).
    Plan in house or off site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences.

    Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager.
    Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures.
    Hands on experience with office machines.
    Familiarity with Xero office programming.
    Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
    Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast past environment.
    A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
