    Our client is a world leading manufacturer and distributor of pneumatics and control technology based in Castle Hill.
    We are currently recruiting a full time permanent role for a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler who can read and interpret engineering drawings. This is a job production environment with one-off production and custom work rather than the manufacture of mass-market products.


    Benefits:
    * This is a full time permanent role with an immediate start on day shift (6am or 7am start)

    * The hourly pay rate is $26.00ph based on a 38 hour week

    Job description:
    * The main duties of the role will include the assembly of sheet-metal parts into cylinders and valves
    * Use of a variety of hand tools
    * Use of a basic measuring equipment
    * Use of computerized inventory and system management
    * Collecting parts from stock areas
    * Cleaning of work area


    About you:
    * The successful applicant must be a highly skilled assembler with a proven mechanical background and strong attention to detail. Must be able to complete one-off production and custom work rather than mass-market work.
    * Must be able to read and understand technical drawings
    * Must have sound computer skills
    * A current NSW forklift licence and relevant trade qualifications such as a Mechanical Fitter or similar would be highly regarded

Must also complete a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing) before commencement.
