  The Role

  Reporting to the Financial Controller, your mission is to keep the resort’s accounts in accordance with policy, standards, and statutory requirements.

  Some of the things you will be doing or assisting in your new role:

  • End of Month / End of Year Preparations and Reports
  • Income Audit
  • Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Budgeting including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash
  • ATO filing and reporting (BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT)
  • Supervise accounting and bookkeeping activities
  • Management accounts and reporting
  • Monitor internal controls pertaining to cash, sales transactions, collections, inventory, expense authorisation, and payroll
  • Fixed asset register updates

  Essential skills and attributes:

  To be successful in this role, you will need the following

  • Solid accounting background, preferably within a similar environment
  • Degree qualified in accounting, business, or commerce.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Enjoy working both autonomously and in a team environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of excel
  • Experience with Sage Micropay, Time Target, and Opera is preferred

  *MUST HAVE SUNSYSTEMS EXPERIENCE OR SIMILAR GL REPORTING SYSTEMS*
