Logistics Coordinator job availability

  • Our client are a seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a 3 month term for an immediate start

    Responsibilities

    Process material requisition requests in line with construction requirements as well as monitoring excess stock held by subcontractor and coordinate its return.

    Ensure that all materials issued are tracked and reconciled against construction cost centre and any irregularities are reported and resolved.

    Consult with Supply chain planners to ensure supply activities continue to achieve company objectives.

    Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure all stock is picked and packed and available as per business requirements and in line with agreed SLA's.

    Provide accurate and detailed verbal and written communication to subcontractors regarding the availability of stock.

    Provide accurate & on time statistical reporting to key stake holders.

    Requirements

    Qualification in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management is desirable

    Intermediate skills in Excel & Word are essential.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Ability to build relationships.

    Able to negotiate with clients at all levels in an organisation.

    Ability to work independently and effectively within the team.
