Licenced Pest Technician

• Licenced Pest Technician Required!!

  Programmed are currently seeking licensed Pest Technicians for a major client based north side of Brisbane, work locations across all Brisbane regions.

  These positions are casual and potentially ongoing, offer great pay rates ($35+ per hour) and fantastic work life balance for the successful applicants. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9 day fortnights with overtime where required. This role will require the successful applicants to be flexible with availability and willing to be on call occasionally.

  Your Duties will include:

  • Pest management of organisational assets - buildings, fleet, etc.
  • Pest and mosquito control in local wetlands and parklands
  • Operating company equipment and fleet vehicles
  • Preparing chemicals and applying baits, repellents, etc.
  • Prestart checks of vehicles and machinery
  • General paperwork and housekeeping
  • Completing and reporting on work schedules
  • Working in a small team, where you are required to work autonomously

  As the successful applicant, you will possess the following:

  Current Queensland Pest Management Technician License

  • Recent experience in a similar role
  • Blue/White Construction Induction Card
  • Industrial and/or Commercial pest management experience
  • Experience and qualifications relating to termites (highly regarded)
  • Safety conscious attitude
  • Good communication skills and proven reliability
