Internal Sales Support Officer job availability

  • Covering a broad range of applications for commercial, domestic and industrial customers, our client is passionate about innovation and providing architectural solutions that are both practical and visually spectacular. They pride themselves on providing unparalleled technical support and service and are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Support Officer to join and compliment the team based in the Northern Suburbs.

    The role consists of servicing the needs of existing clients, responding to new sales inquiries and supporting the activities of the external sales team.

    Your typical day will consist of, but is not limited to;

    • Handling telephone enquiries and customer quotations.

    • Provide quotations for orders and invoicing when goods despatched.

    • Taking care of Statements at the end of a month.

    • General Filing, keeping track of creditors and follow up on collection for outstanding accounts, delivery dockets & payments.

    • Consulting with warehouse staff, keeping track of orders and ETA.

    • Liaising with Contractors, Builders, Architects and sales reps.

    • Coordinating/managing presentations and events.

    To be considered for this role, you must possess the following experience;

    • Technical ability: previous experience and familiarity in reading drawings/ architectural filed or working with a construction company will be preferred but not essential.

    • An experienced administrative, customer service or sales professional with demonstrated excellence in these roles.

    • A fast learner with demonstrated ability to pick up new things.

    • Experience with CRM systems such as Sales Force will be advantageous but not essential.

    • An excellent spoken and written communicator with the ability to deal effectively and appropriately with a wide variety of individuals.

    • A highly organized person.

    • A true team player who enjoys helping others.
