Home Care Services Manager - Albury Region job availability

    The Organisation:

    A leading Not For Profit organisation who have dedicated over 50 years to providing innovative and quality aged care services to the elderly of Albury and Riverina regions

    The Role:

    Reporting to the Managing Director, the Home Care Services Manager will be responsible for:

    • Management of a team of Home Care Service staff, contractors, students and volunteers
    • In conjunction with Case Managers, clients, family members and a multidisciplinary team, oversee the quality implementation of packages (inclusive of Short Term Restorative Care) based on a comprehensive assessment of client wishes and requirements for support, nursing and personal care needs.
    • Preparing annual budgets in collaboration with the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. Produce client budgets and communicate with clients regularly re same as per Home Care Guidelines
    • Participating in the development, monitoring and review of policies and work practices in collaboration with the management team.
    • Developing strong external relationships to facilitate the delivery of services and the ongoing development of the organisation's community services model.
    • Maintain regulatory compliance as outlined in the Aged Care Act 1997, ensuring the provision of a safe working environment and adherence to the Work Health and Safety Act 2012
    • Participates in strategic and operational planning as requested by the Managing Director and Board of Governance. 

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience leading and managing a Home Care aged care service.
    • Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and improvement.
    • Experience with stakeholder management, partnership development and establishing service provider agreements.
    • Demonstrated innovation, improvement and evaluation of services.
    • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Human resource and performance management skills.
    • Work health and safety commitment.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage financial resources, budget accordingly and improve profitability.
    • Must Be Registered Nurse, Division 1
