Fitter Machinist specialising in Hone Operations job availability

  • Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking a Fitter Machinist specialising in Hone Operations to work in the Perth Metro area with our internationally renowned client.
    Our client has set the benchmark in equipment management and services clients across the mining, construction and transport industries across Australia and is currently seeking some experienced staff to join the team on a casual basis.

    About the Role:
    This is a local position where you will be required to work 10-12 hour shifts on a 5/2 roster (5 days on, 2 days off) rotating 2 weeks of day shift and 2 weeks of afternoon shift. There will also be Saturday work available currently due to the workload.

    Successful candidates will have experience in the use of honing machines, hold an Australian recognised trade cert and be available to commence employment immediately.

    Selection Criteria include:
    * Fitter Machinist Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
    * High Risk - Dogging & Forklift tickets
    * Current Drivers Licence
    * Experience in the use of Honing machines is essential
    * Exposure to Sunnen Honing equipment is highly desirable
    * Ability to work afternoon shifts as required
    * Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen
    * Demonstrated track record of working safely
