Our client, a market leader in the telecommunications industry, is currently requiring a Despatch Operator to join their operations and maintenance department in an ongoing casual capacity on day and night shifts.
Reporting into the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end coordination of emergency faults called in by customers. The role will include ensuring the contract Service Level agreement KPI's are met or exceeded, ensuring 100% utilisation of field resources, identify and resolve network issues escalating in real time if necessary, and resolving customer escalations and complaints.
To secure this role you will demonstrate your ability in achieving goals, and experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all decision levels, within and external to the business. You will have strong computer skills, especially in the MS office Suite and show a dedicated approach to safety, environmental protection and quality while being able to work very well under pressure.
Demonstrating your understanding of the operations and maintenance environment in telecommunications technical service centre or the utility industry would be desirable.
Flexibility with work hours will be needed as 12 hour shifts on a rotating basis across day and night shifts, including weekends are required.
