    The Company:
    Our client is a leader in veterinary services and has a team of highly experienced veterinarians servicing clients across a range of animal sectors throughout Australia. This innovative and progressive business is now seeking an experienced Database Analyst to join their Head Office team in Bendigo.

    The Position:
    Working with a highly capable team, this position is responsible for:

    • Working with business stakeholders to identify and develop software solutions to meet business needs
    • Design, build, and implement application integration solutions in line with best practice
    • Developing and maintaining data integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components.
    • Developing solutions to system defects and provide technical assistance to resolve integration errors.

    This role is pivotal to the ongoing success of the organisation and as such you will possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, whilst working to plan and deliver solutions in a timely manner.

    Our Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • 5 + years’ experience in a similar role with strong experience with ERP Systems.
    • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools including Power BI.
    • Demonstrated experience writing RESTFUL Web Services and writing fault-tolerant code.
    • Strong technical background with experience in JSON, XML, and with Javascript, PHP, Python or related language.
    • Working knowledge of agile software development practices and tools.
    • Familiarity with database tools such as SQL Management Studio, ETL tools such as Jitterbit; Integration Architecture.
    • Proven ability to design and document software solutions.
    • Demonstrated project management experience.
    • Highly motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Team player, with the ability to liaise with a range of different stakeholders and also work independently when required.
