Customer Service Officer job availability

  • Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer for a role based in Milton, QLD. Our client is a national leading manufacturer of aggregate and concrete products. This role offers a Monday to Friday ongoing position with the opportunity for permanency.

    Your duties and responsibilities will include:

    * Answering a large volume of incoming phone calls (120+ per shift)
    * Handling a mixture of concrete and aggregate orders and negotiate delivery times
    * Liaising with operation and scheduling teams
    * Provide product information and quotes to customers
    * General housekeeping when required

    The successful applicant will possess the following:

    * Current and valid driver's license and reliable transport
    * Proven experience with handling a large volume of incoming phone calls
    * Proven experience with multitasking in a fast paced environment
    * Committed team player
    * Effective verbal and written communication skills
    * Geographical knowledge of the South East Queensland Region
    * Any previous experience within the manufacturing or construction industry is highly beneficial
    * Ability to work Monday to Friday with early starts
