  • ABOUT THE ROLE


    PERSOLKELLY in partnership with a Freight Forwarding business looking for a Customer Care Manager to join their team in Pemulwuy. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of all existing accounts.

    DUTIES


    * Strategic relationship development.
    * Ownership of the commercial review and GP volume development.
    * To provide the required information to the internal stakeholders (rates, S.O.P, service details & customer promise).
    * Oversee and manage the KN delivery
    * Communicate with the employee on all aspects of their shipment, customs/quarantine requirements and delivery in accordance is customer requirements
    * Analyse KN performance against the customers promise and capture any errors to minimise potential risk
    * Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
    * Identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
    * Ensure customer data is managed and up to date, including keeping record of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
    * Book Shipments on behalf of the customer with our overseas offices.
    * To transfer the customers delivery requirements to the domestic transport service provider and manage the delivery of service while avoiding storage and minimising additional costs
    * Support with the preparation of shipment files, expected revenues and costs to ensure accurate accruals for financial accounting.
    * Visit and communicate with customers regularly to build strong relationships.
    * To comply with the qualities and standards of the company - changing work processes as required


    ESSESNTIAL REQUIREMENTS


    * Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
    * Air and Sea freight experience ideal
    * Project management experience
    * Leadership experience
    * Written and verbal communication
    * Good attention to detail
    * Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, act quickly and decisively.
    * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
