We are currently looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead (Mechanical) for a shutdown project. This role is required immediately to assist with the execution planning for the shutdown which is expected to take place March 2021. The Commissioning Lead role would be required through to the middle of April 2021 as a minimum.
Based primarily in the Perth CBD, the project includes several conveyor upgrades, crusher upgrades and balanced machines scope. The work will be executed over a ~500-hour shutdown in March. The project includes several conveyor upgrades, crusher upgrades and balanced machines scope.
Facilitate and participate in Task Based Risk Assessments including WRAC, JHA and Take 5 activities
Participate in design reviews including Safety in Design and Hazard Workshops
Participates in Field Leadership activities and embraces MAP Safety culture and KPI's
Executes commissioning methodologies, strategies and plans in accordance with project commissioning systems and standards
Performs defect identification and rectification throughout the commissioning process, and post-handover in conjunction with Operations
Utilise the systems and sub-systems developed for the commissioning processes
Support and maintenance of the CCMS software ensuring the most up to date information is available in the system
Monitors Commissioning contractor performance as required and verifies quality of contractor documentation
Executes commissioning activities according to commissioning strategy and plans
Performs manual (work) tasks and activities to complete the commissioning scope of work including; field commissioning activities and completion of documentation
Performs assigned activities in a safe and timely manner
Reporting and Handover
Attending, Participating and Facilitating meetings which may include Daily Downtime, Commissioning Daily Prestart and other Commissioning related meetings.
Support flexible work arrangements to accommodate resourcing requirements for shutdowns and commissioning activities
Ability to work nightshift as required to support commissioning activities
Support the compilation and review of Facility Handover documentation and deliverables
