Cellar Hand/Lab Technician

  We are currently looking for an experienced Lab Assistant and Cellar hand for a client of ours who provide wine services.

  The opportunity to move regional for these roles may become available, although not an essential requirement for the roles

  Job Description

  Lab Technician

  • Perform chemical analysis on wine samples
  • Perform microbiological analysis on wine samples
  • Perform field analysis
  • Preparation of standard solutions and reagents
  • Standardisation of reagents
  • Calibration &/or calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Monitoring
  • Data entry

  Cellar Hand

  • Wine transferring
  • Preparing and cleaning tanks
  • Receiving and generating delivery dockets
  • Helping make adjustments to lines and ingredients

  The minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
