Catering Assistant job availability

  • Our Client, based in Yongah Hills (Northam) are seeking certified Catering Assistant staff to help meet the demand for their high quality products and service.

    The position is an ongoing casual role and will be required for day shifts operating Monday to Sunday from 9am - 8:30pm.

    You will be trained in several different areas to fulfil your role and to add to your versatility within the company. This role involves food preparation, plating, and service, clean up and following food safety requirements.

    To be considered you must possess the following:

    • A Certificate II in in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or higher
    • Monday to Sunday availability as this is a 24/7 operation
    • Proven experience in Food Handling and Safety is required
    • A high attention to detail and good plating skills
    • Previous food preparation experience
    • The ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
    • A passion for quality food presentation
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills

    The minimum requirements are as follows:

    • Immediate and flexible availability
    • Be able to pass Australian federal back ground checks and medical requirements at your own cost
    • A current valid driver's licence and reliable transport
    • 2 contactable work references within the last 6 months
