Business Development Manager job availability

  • Our client, a leader in the Lighting industry, based in the South East Suburbs, is seeking a suitably qualified Business Development Manager to join their team on a casual basis (38 hours a week) with the potential of becoming full time.

    Reporting into the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing your portfolio of trade and retail customers, as well as identifying and converting new business. KPI's will be in place for phone calls, face to face visits and daily budgets, with time allocated both on the road and in the office. Company cars are available for use on site.

    To secure this role you will have;
    * Previous experience in a customer-focused sales role
    * Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
    * Microsoft Dynamics experience is preferred, but not essential
    * Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers
    * Motivation to meet and exceed clearly defined KPI's to ensure success
