    Our client is a market leader provides a variety of services to heavy industrial sites in the mining, resource and energy sectors.

    Our client's maintenance services include: Industrial planned preventative & breakdown maintenance; shutdowns and project works.

    Works are delivered by qualified and experienced, directly employed tradespeople and engineers, with the support of 10 engineering workshops across Australia.


    The position of Business Development Manager will be to increase the customer base in the designated sales region and to identify new business opportunities. Additionally, the role will include a competitive and attractive remuneration with a vehicle allowance.


    Duties:
    * Increase of revenue in appointed region through the pursuit of new business opportunities
    * Identify opportunity for growth, understand customer requirements and match to an offering
    * Negotiating price/value outcomes
    * Responsible for building and sustaining external business relationships and utilising networks to establish a pipeline of potential business opportunities
    * Raise the profile of the company in the market place
    * Generate, follow up and close leads
    * Execute marketing and sales campaigns and provide timely, constructive and genuine feedback about results and activity
    * Act in consultation with the General Manager and greater service teams to implement sales strategies
    * Follow up on all incidents jeopardizing the retention of clients and escalating to Management team, as required
    * Achieve revenue/ gross margin targets as specified through the sales reports.


    The Person:
    * MUST have proven sales experience in maintenance solutions across Light manufacturing, FMCG, Ports, Mining or Utilities.
    * Excellent communication skills - Both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise across all levels of stakeholders.
    * Ability to develop meaningful working relationships to foster desirable business outcomes.
    * Results orientated with a 'Will to win' approach
    * Be capable of providing g accurate and timely reporting of sales activity on a monthly basis.
    * Proven experience developing strategic regional business development goals.
    * Proven track record in sales associated with providing maintenance solutions
    * Excellent customer service, relationship building and negotiation skills
