    Programmed Training Services specialise in the employment of Apprentices and Trainees with our clients and the design and delivery of nationally accredited training. As a leading provider of staffing and training services, Programmed employ more than 1,500 apprentices and trainees each year in various industries.

    The Role

    Our Group Training Organisation (GTO) is currently seeking an Apprenticeship and Traineeship Advisor, specifically to manage and grow various Key Clients in a variety of industries. Based in Karratha, this role will suit an individual who is a people-person, self-starter and who is passionate about providing quality training and employment to apprentices and trainees with a proven ability to grow business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders, trainees and apprentices, training providers, state training services, and apprenticeship support network providers
    • Increasing the profile of Programmed Training Services in the marketplace (ie. School/TAFE/Expo visits/networking opportunities)
    • Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
    • Management of Trainees and Apprentices which includes
    • Pastoral Care - ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to all trainees and apprentices
    • Monitoring Training Progression with both the apprentice/trainee and Training Provider
    • Performance Reviews, Management and Disciplinary Counselling
    • Ongoing Recruitment and Induction of new apprentices and trainees
    • Occupational Health and Safety management of Trainees and Apprentices within the workplace
    • Completion of Workplace Risk Assessments
    • General Administration including reporting, timesheets and data entry
    • Compliance to Client Contractual Requirements and achievement of KPI's
    • State Government Apprentice & Trainee Awards
    • Programmed Reward & Recognition Programs

    Skills & Experience:

    • Demonstrate an understanding of safety and a commitment to upholding safety standards
    • Experience in Business Development or Sales
    • Excellent communication skills - oral and written
    • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
    • Dynamic team player and contributor
    • Ability to build and develop strong relationships with various stakeholders at different levels
    • A positive outlook, Drive and Self-Motivation
    • Experience in GTO sector or training industry experience is favorable

    Ideally you will possess some heavy Industry or training experience; however applicants will be considered from a Trade, Training or education background
