    Programmed, in partnership with one of our large manufacturing clients have an opportunity for an Engineering Mechanical Fitter Apprentice.

    Our client employs over 12,000 professionals globally, has over 200 years of manufacturing history and is the leading global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries.

    We are seeking motivated individuals that have a passion for the mechanical industry, a commitment to safety and the ability to work as part of a team.

    The position is located in Matraville NSW

    * Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to complete Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade - Fitter

    Working as an Apprentice you will be exposed to a variety of tasks which may include:

    * Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues (repairs, removals, installations)
    * Erect and maintain machinery and equipment on site
    * Maintain and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
    * Assemble, fit, clean and lubricate machined parts using a range of tools and equipment
    * Study blueprints and use measuring instruments to shape parts to be machined

    To be considered you must have the following:

    * Completed Year 10 Education
    * Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
    * Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship

    We will consider 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentices however you must show proof your TAFE studies are up to date.
