    Are you an administrative expert but looking for a challenge and/or further development?
    Programmed Skilled Workforce, on behalf of Tasmanian Alkaloids, is looking for a full time Administrative Services Officer, who can manage the administrative requirements of primarily our Manufacturing Operations but also provide support to our Engineering and Maintenance and EHS Departments.

    What are we looking for?

    You will have the administration side of things down pat, being experienced in standard office systems and processes. You will be looking for variety, to use your experience to implement efficiencies and the opportunity to grow. We see this role evolving to further develop and take on responsibility for operational aspects of Manufacturing by way of the management of small projects or portfolios of a more technical nature.

    About the role:

    The Administrative Services Officer is often the first point of contact for the Manufacturing department and has responsibility for providing first rate customer service to a range of internal and external customers within this dynamic work environment.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide a range of administrative support to the Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance and EHS departments
    • Produce manufacturing documentation and associated product labels in accordance with GMP/quality requirements to enable the timely release of product
    • On-time completion, management and distribution of departmental documentation, including but not limited to data entry, administration of relevant databases and systems, compliance documents (quality, safety, training etc) and general communications
    • Assist with audits/inspections

    About you:

    The successful applicant will hold a Certificate III (or higher) in office administration or have equivalent demonstrated experience. Even better if you have experience within a manufacturing environment, exposure to GMP, Lean principles, EHS procedures or records management.
    You will have excellent written and oral communications skills; the ability to communicate at all levels; be highly IT literate in the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally have experience with business applications such as - SAP Business One, EMS, Compliance Wire, GXRS, CTO Travel Tool, Maximo.
