A Week In The Life of OneShift: Wednesday

A Week In The Life Of OneShift

Welcome to Hump Day! Another day, another OneShifter.

Today we're chatting with Henry, an English traveller who has made his way to the barren lands of Australia! He's living the Australian lifestyle by the beach in Coogee, working full-time in sales and doesn't want to leave (who could blame him?).

What made you want to come to Australia?

Ever since watching Finding Nemo for the first time, it has been a huge dream of mine (no joke).

What are your plans for today?

Before I begin my long day at work, I like to head down to Bronte for a morning surf. It’s a bit cold this time of year, but it’s a great way to wake up! Plus, it's something I never get to do back home. After work, I’m going to be heading out with friends for dinner in Chinatown.

What’s the most interesting fact about you?

I like to wear dragon onesies and drink wine through a straw.

What’s your favourite Sydney spot?

The lighthouse at Watsons Bay! It has the most amazing view of the sea.

What’s on the top of your travel bucket list and why?

See the pyramids in Egypt as I am fascinated by that period of history! Also, I'd love to Climb Mount Everest as I think that would be the ultimate physical challenge.

If money didn’t matter and you could have any job in the world, what would be your dream job and why?

I would like to look after the gorillas in the cloud forest in Ecuador because I cant make human friends.
