OneShift was today listed in the 2015 Top 10 of Australia’s SMART 100 Service Winners, part of Anthill Magazine’s SMART Innovation Awards.
The SMART Innovation Awards, established in 2008, are seen as Australia’s largest awards program dedicated to innovation, and identify and rank Australia’s 100 most innovative products every year.
The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday evening at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, and Anthill Magazine have since announced the shortlists for the Top 10 and Top 50 service winners in Australia – OneShift was given praise in the top 10%.
Start-up company ‘Bubs & Boardrooms’ were the overall 2015 service winner. It developed to provide a working space for parents and play space for children simultaneously. A service that enables people to carry out day-to-day responsibilities as a parent and focus on their career at the same time.
Like Oneshift, Bubs & Boardrooms understand the importance of flexible working. In fact, founders (and mothers) Liz Graham and Carly Roy have voiced that they believe flexibility in the workplace is the way of the future. They recognize that most small business owners and corporates are using flexibility as a major draw card to keep talented workers.
