Changes to the Fair Work Commission bad for business Recent changes to the Fair Work Comission (FWC) hierarchy will lessen the voice of small business within the workplace regulator. Penalty rates are an important aspect of shift work, however imposing high rates will ultimately hurt short term workers by forcing businesses to operate fewer staff. OneShift hopes that the FWC will treat employers fairly and consider the long term impact of employee centric policy.
